How does TMS know how many hours a "teller" works?

The data used by the system includes branch numbers and employee ID numbers supplied by the institution.  It also provides a record of each quarter-hour, or hour worked while processing transactions.  This enables the system to calculate the total processing "teller" hours worked for each associate, branch, and region.  If a "teller" is away from the window for several hours performing duties other than processing transactions, those hours are not included in the processing hours total.
