What are processing hours and why do they differ from payroll hours?

Processing hours are the actual number of hours that your employees handled transactions.  This represents the number of records reported to FMSI within valid open and close hours for each branch.  When employees are not in their stations processing transactions, those hours are not included in "processing hours worked."
