Meet FMSI at the ACU Ops & Tech Conference 2026

Las Vegas is about to fill up with credit union operations, technology, and member experience leaders, and FMSI will be right there with them. We’re proud to be a sponsor of America’s Credit Unions’ Operations and Technology Councils’ Conference 2026, running September 21–24 at Caesars Palace. We’d love for you to stop by Booth 614 to talk branch strategy, appointment scheduling, staffing, and everything in between.

What the Conference Is All About

This year’s event brings together the Operations & Member Experience Council and the Innovation & Technology Council for what’s billed as the premier gathering for credit union professionals working at the intersection of operations, technology, and member experience. The framing for 2026 is simple but ambitious: advance what matters. Your members, your people, your tech.

Sessions this year dig into some of the same questions we spend our days thinking about at FMSI: how to modernize the member experience without losing the personal touch, how AI fits into credit union operations, and how to build a workforce that’s ready for what’s next. A few sessions on the agenda that stood out to us:

  • From Digital Touchpoints to Meaningful Relationships: Driving Growth in the Modern Banking Experience: A session squarely focused on how credit unions turn digital convenience into deeper member relationships, not just more transactions.
  • AI Readiness: Identifying Workflows Worth Automating: Practical guidance on where AI actually earns its keep in credit union operations, versus where it’s just noise.
  • From Entry-Level to Executive: Building a Future-Ready Credit Union Workforce: A look at workforce development as branches shift from transaction counters to advisory hubs.

Beyond the main agenda, the conference kicks off with an optional pre-conference workshop on money movement modernization, and wraps into a two-day Security Summit for anyone staying through the end of the week to dig deeper into AI governance, platform security, and third-party risk.

Who You'll Find in the Room

This conference draws a specific, focused crowd: credit union operations professionals, member experience leaders, innovation and technology teams, and security professionals. The crowd will also include many past attendees of the former CUNA Technology Council and Operations and Member Experience Council conferences who’ve followed the event through its evolution. If your day-to-day involves branch operations, member experience strategy, or the technology stack behind either one, this is very much a “your people are here” kind of event.

It’s also a working conference in the best sense! Heavy on peer networking, panel discussions, and real operational takeaways, not just keynote-style presentations. Past attendees consistently point to the networking and peer problem-solving as the most valuable part of the week, alongside the chance to see what other credit unions are doing with technology and innovation across the country.

Why FMSI Is Showing Up

Every session on this year’s agenda (AI readiness, workforce planning, digital-to-relationship growth) touches something FMSI works on with credit unions every day. We built RelationshipOS because branch operations, appointment scheduling, staffing, and analytics shouldn’t live in four different systems that don’t talk to each other. When operations and technology leaders are in the same room asking “how do we modernize without losing the member relationship,” that’s exactly the conversation we want to be part of.

If you’re already wrestling with questions like:

  • How do we reduce no-shows and make better use of advisor time?
  • How should we be staffing branches based on actual member demand, not last year’s schedule?
  • What does “branch transformation” actually look like in practice, beyond the buzzword?
  • How do we get a real, unified view of what’s happening across our branch network?

We’d genuinely enjoy talking through it with you. No pitch required, just a conversation about what’s working, what isn’t, and what other credit unions your size are doing about it.

Come Say Hello

We’ll be at Booth 614 for the full run of the conference. Stop by to see what RelationshipOS looks like in action, grab some FMSI swag, or just compare notes on what you’re hearing in sessions. If you’re planning your booth-crawl route ahead of time, add us to the list! We’d love to meet you.
